personal view of who we are. We believe our team is made up of some
of the most dedicated, skilled people in the industry. It's no
accident that we're here - each member was hand-picked for their
business background and remarkable interpersonal skills. We love

Shelley Trenouth, President
The Placement Group managers refer to Shelley as an articulate,
high-energy leader whose passion for the industry and pride in her
team is evident in everything she does. Her quick wit and
irreverent sense of humour wrap around the serious business of
coaching and teaching the hundreds of new employees who have
attended our famous Boot Camp Training Program. Eager to share the
wisdom gained from 35 years in the recruitment arena, Shelley's
true love is to help others realize their own potential to deliver
powerful performance.
With seventeen years' tenure in the organization, Shelley is a
valuable member of the executive team and shares in the
responsibility for strategic development and operational
effectiveness not only for The Placement Group, but also for our
parent company, Design Group Staffing Inc. Shelley also holds the
title of Chief Talent Officer for the corporate entity and
consequently is part of the fabric of all Design Group Staffing
divisions and offices from coast to coast. She is equally
comfortable speaking to large employee groups or presenting client
seminars on HR related topics.
In addition to her zeal for staffing, Shelley is an extreme dog
enthusiast. In fact, Tedrix, her lovable and very large Komondor,
can oftentimes be heard in the background contributing his sage and
cogent thoughts to the discussion.
Susan Wright-Boucher, Vice President
Susan has an unflagging passion for the staffing industry. Over
the last 15 years, she has managed contingent and permanent
staffing operations and national accounts in every major city in
Canada. Her staffing industry career began on the east coast where
she managed a network of branches in the 4 Atlantic Provinces.
Following that, she spent nearly 5 years in Toronto managing
national accounts. Today she and her husband live in Vancouver
where they have happily adopted the Western Canadian lifestyle. She
has been called a workaholic but prefers the term 'business
athlete'.
A confirmed lifelong learner and technology geek, Susan has a
voracious appetite for business and social media books. As a
result, she is no longer allowed unsupervised trips to the
bookstore. She is an active contributor and early adopter on the
social networking scene. You can find her on all the mainstream
sites like LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook, and on many of the
lesser known or newer sites. Her social media engagement is based
on the belief that we have an unprecedented opportunity to connect
and learn from each other.
Susan is a proponent of leveraging critical thinking and
technology to improve corporate performance and growth. She is
available for speaking engagements on employer branding, social
media, recruitment, and employment trends.
